ID Magasin workshop for gifted students

Emilie Coles, Account Director, ID Magasin, went back to school recently - to run a workshop for a group of year 11 'Gifted and Talented' students.

Gifted and Talented provision within schools is designed to address the needs of particularly able students, both within and outside the classroom. Emilie's session was designed to give top Business Studies students some unique insights, as well as giving them the opportunity to put theory into practice.

Emile presented a number of ID Magasin's shopper learnings to the class, then set the students to work on an imaginary in-store product launch. Each group then presented their ideas and the winning group was awarded a prize.

Says Lydia Boundy, Head of Gifted and Talented, Wren School, Wellingborough: 'The day was a complete success. The children learnt so much and got so much out of it. This type of initiative really helps students to apply their classroom learning. We were thrilled that ID Magasin gave their support to this and ran the day for us. The students were all buzzing with enthusiasm'.
